I got back last night from South Dakota from Nonno's funeral. It was good to see all of my family and friends and to say goodbye to my grandpa.
The weather in Watertown was inexorably cold (usually below zero). Running outside was out of the question, unless you were running from the front door to the vehicle. Brett suggested I keep to my training schedule by running around the SuperWalMart which was the size of a small city. I opted to forgo running and spend my time sitting around Nonna's table eating for hours on end with my family and reminiscing about Nonno.
It felt good to jog in the sunshine today through the city and I'm glad to be back in San Diego.
I'm with brett you should have used the wal-mart I would have wanted video of it tho!
ReplyDeleteI know...it was big enough! When I go out there again I promise to get a video of me jogging through the WalMart. I'll be wearing head and wrist bands and hopefully, a leisure suit.
